The aim of the present study is to assess the possible successes and failures of an immediately loaded implant prosthetic rehabilitation called “All on Four”, where the appropriate prosthetic structure is loaded in the same session of implant placement (four implants in this specific study), without compromising the primary stability throughout the healing period.
METHODS
80 patients were selected and included in this study; the prosthetic implant treatment resulted in the rehabilitation of lower arches for a total of 320 implants placed with immediate loading. The selected patients were aged between 40 and 60 years, both males and females. This was the principle of inclusion and exclusion in order to select the most appropriate sample to that rehabilitation.
RESULTS
Following the implementation of the pre-surgical, surgical and prosthetic protocols and performing constant controls, there was a success rate of 99.06%. and a failure rate of 0.94%.
CONCLUSIONS
Through these data, we can conclude that the immediately loaded rehabilitation treatment called “All on Four” is a valid alternative to traditional prosthetic implant treatment. Several reports in the literature also confirm this claim.
